The next morning it was Shauna´s turn to suffer on a travelling journey. Karma. And even after our hostel owner tried to offer us a free night in the hostel because he loved us so much, we decided it was time to leave Pipa.
With a few intervals for Shauna`s vomitting.
After a mammoth 26 hours of tavelling we arrived in Jericoacoara....WOW. Jeri is famous for it´s amazing sand dunes and beautiful sunsets which can be watched by the beach. (Shauna - Biology girls, I know what you´re thinking... SAND DUNES?! I promise you this is nothing like that awful Wales trip!) The weather has been so beautiful here and the hottest we have experienced by far - back to factor 50!

Today we went on buggy trip (dad you would have loved it... your kind of driving!!) to visit a blue lagoon, the heart lake which you can ride down the sand dunes on and then finally paradise island where there were actual hammocks in the sea. You could say we´ve had a really strenous time here!
Although blurry- this is a picture of Shauna sandboarding down a steep sand dune into the Heart Lagoon |
It is our last night in Jeri tonight and we are thinking of going out to a forro show. We´re leaving at 7.30am tomorrow morning a few hours after Shauna gets her results tomorrow morning. Good luck to everybody else getting there results tomorrow, Sam, Sarah, Serena, Sean, Amber... and anyone else sorry if we´ve forgotten you!!
Hope you are all good at home
