From Morro to Recife, Olinda and Pipa!

So on our last few nights in Morro we finally had some ´party partaay´(copyright foster-gregg) aided by our personal barmaid - Cal!
We met up with some Danish friends from Salvador and made some more friends on our last night. One english girl who was a giant freckle!!!! (Keelin to Shauna `I dont want to ever look like that´ - it was genuinely terrifying to see) One guy played the guitar... its a shame Shauna didnt learn more than one verse and chorus of every song before she had left the UK. We consumed rather alot of alcohol that night despite needing to board the notoriously rocky ferry back to Salvador. The caipirinhas that Keelin had enjoyed the night before came back to haunt her as we made the way to the ferry and she FILLED a bag with sick. It was vile. It wasnt a one-off either with a few cheeky trips to the ferry toilet once on the boat... all of this was carried out with A-list sunglasses on. FANCY.
From Salvador we took a 14 hour bus journey to the city of Recife. Here we met Julie Walters disguised as a Brazilian tour guide who took us to see the sights of Recife and Olinda. She ennouraged us to indulge in some chocolate, banana and mint liquor at 4 oclock! At our hostel in Olinda we were kindly told there was ´no room at the inn´ and were housed in a shed at the back for the night. It didnt live up to the high standards of the Boyogonnell hayshed/love shack. Nevertheless we were off to Praia De Pipa early the next morning so the ten rat-traps outside our room were only a minor worry on our way out!

 (Eleanor saving on contact lenses)

To be honest there isnt too much to tell you about Pipa although it is awesome its all about the beach and paryting. EXCEPT the fact that we can swim with dolphins every day in the Atlantic Ocean.. casual. Unfortunately there are no pictures because we were all too busy playing with dolphins, sorry! We were planning to stay here only for a few days but have decided it would be good to be here for Shauna´s birthday to go out.

ITS MY BIRTHDAY NOW!!!

On Saturday we are heading to Jericoacoara, and from there onto Manaus to spend a few days in the Jungle!!! (Obviously after the 18th...don´t panic Ellen!). From there we will hopefully head onto Angel Falls. We will update you as soon as we can. We hope everything is returning to normal in the UK, keep safe.
xxxxxxx
